PROJECT COORDINATOR

Working directly with the Site Superintendent, the Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of projects by coordinating various activities, ensuring effective communication between team members, and maintaining project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist management in planning, scheduling, and coordinating labour and equipment
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts and change orders
• Prepare daily reports that accurately tracks site progress, events, and other relevant information
• Assist in resolving project issues and conflicts as they arise
• Ensure all company policies, procedures and safety requirements are executed and adhered to
• Monitor training and safety requirements, ensure re-certification is completed as needed
• Monitor equipment maintenance and reporting
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful completion of projects

Requirements and Qualifications

• Two years of related experience
• Knowledge or project management, flowcharts, technical documentation, etc.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Organized, self-disciplined and high attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract

Location: This position is based out of the Fraser Canyon area
