We are currently recruiting experienced Excavator Operators to join our growing team.

General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work safely in a mining or civil construction environment following company procedures and policies
- Daily 360° inspection of all equipment for operational and safety checks
- Accurately complete all work reports and maintenance logs as required
- Follow equipment maintenance schedule and advise if repair is required
- Regularly perform safety inspection of equipment and tools
- Support operations through manual labour, including shoveling, operating powered equipment, loading and unloading of miscellaneous supplies and equipment, light maintenance, and other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to complete mandatory internet-based Orientation and Indoctrination training and certification
- Class 5 Driver’s Licence and ability to provide a clean Drivers Abstract
- Operates safely with care and attention to the equipment, the jobsite and the crew
- 3 plus years’ experience operating a CAT Excavator
- Familiar with Field Level Hazard Assessment
- Willingness to step out of the cab and perform labour tasks if and when required
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strict attention and compliance with equipment cleanliness, maintenance and completing logs
- Experience on other equipment is an asset
- Mining experience an asset
- Good communication skills
- Reliable transportation
Location: The Elk Gold Project is located approximately 57 km from Merritt, BC. and controlled by Gold Mountain Mining Corp., a BC based exploration and development company.
This is not a camp position, employees provide their own transportation to/from the job site.
